  Breathe
Noctiphobia, or the fear of darkness is a pathological disorder that prohibits the afflicted to have a good night‘s sleep. To alleviate the symptoms one is forced to keep the light burning all night and thereby waist energy. Breathe is the concept of a wall lamp that tries to address this issue without the use of complicating technology. It is made of an elastic material, which, in conjunction with the atmospheric pressure, turns off the lamp automatically. The light can be turned on when you go bed and then turns off on its own.
Breathe allows the afflicted to enjoy the night without wasting electricity.


  Finding of the jury:
For many people, good sleep is just a dream because of high pressure from their jobs, studies and even family lives. This design provides a simple, but effective and elegant way to deal with the problem without the use of complicated technology.
